1875 – Robert D. Jamison Opens Furniture Store in Nashville, TN.
1883 – Robert D. Jamison Starts Making Mattress on Bank of Cumberland River Nashville, TN.
1890 – Jamison Starts Supplying The Hospitality Market
1925 – Henry D. Jamison Sr. Becomes President
1940 – Advent of WWII- Company Grows by Supplying Mattresses for U.S. Government.
1950 – Henry D. Jamison Jr. Becomes President.
1959 – Purchases Anchor Spring Bedding Co. & merges sales & manufacturing into Nashville facility.
1960 – Purchases manufacturing facility in Albany, GA to serve the southernmost states.
1966 – Jamison Starts Its Long Partnership With Marriott which is still going strong today.
1972 – Henry D Jamison III Becomes President.
1975 – Jamison Franchises to be a Sera Licensee in State of TN.
1976 – Jamison Became One of the Largest Sofa Sleeper Manufacturers in U.S. and Supplier to Sears Roebuck Co.
1983 – Jamison Celebrates Its 100th Anniversary With The Then Senator Al Gore Honoring The Company.
1986 – Great Great Grandson of Founder, Frank Gorrell III, Son of Betty Jamison Gorrell Becomes President.
1987 – Opened new manufacturing facility in Gallatin Plant.
1991 – Closed Sofa Sleeper Division to Focus on Mattress Manufacturing Sales & Marketing.
1997 – Opened Hospitality Plant in Nashville, TN to exclusively Serve the Hospitality Market.
2000 – Purchased Factory In Lake Havasu, AZ- Opened Manufacturing Operations to serve West Coast of U.S.
2001 – Jamison Becomes Exclusive Licensee For Hypnos in the United States.
2008 – Celebrated 125th Anniversary in Mattress Manufacturing Business.
2014 – Jamison was acquired by Solstice Sleep Products
